DESCRIPTION
I developed the technique we used to fill the entire stadium with people and implemented it on every shot for this ad. We asked the director to film a tribune full of people from nine different camera angles. We then used that info to paint and fill the stadium, using camera projections in the cases where we had camera moves. This entire project was made in Nuke.

DESCRIPTION
I did the wings. Modeled and texturized 10 feathers. Used an IK chain as a base for the rig and programmed a script that made the creation, positioning and rigging of the primary and secondary feathers completely automatic, giving me full control over its total number at all times. Every single feather could be bend, scaled and rotated individually or by groups with animatable falloffs. For the covert feathers I used the DodoMaster script by Semir Saleh.

I made everything except for the flares and original artwork. I did some fluid simulations with Realflow using the letters' shapes and added the logo fragments with a rigid body simulation. Rendered with Mentalray in Maya.

DESCRIPTION
I did everything in this piece, along with applications to the hosts' names. Used particles controlled by expressions and fragments of the letters. It was done using a series of multiply-divide nodes and custom attributes that controlled the timing and spacing of each letter's animation from a single parameter. To make the application in other words an easier task I programmed some scripts that made everything automatically. Used Maya for 3D and After Effects for compositing.

For this project I worked as the Lead CG artist, focusing mostly on lighting, shading and compositing. I developed the final aesthetics for the entire commercial and also prepared procedural 2D FX to be used by the other artists. The project was rendered using Vray and for the comp we used After Effects.

For this ad I worked along the lighting and CG hair styling artists of the studio to develop the look the client was looking for the cow. I used a base beauty pass and then added some rim lights and custom passes to better shape the volumes of the character. This project was comped in Nuke.
